Nokia's chair Sari Baldauf is resigning, to be replaced by Timo Ihamuotila. The company is pushing into AI to counteract declining earnings, while shares dropped 6%. Baldauf has been a key figure at Nokia since the early 1980s.

Growth seen at 7.4% in FY26 as consumption and investment power the economy; manufacturing firms up, inflation cools, global risks persist

The company posted its results for the third quarter of FY26 late on Wednesday evening, with its revenue dipping 3% year-on-year to ₹2,140 crore, and slipping to a loss of ₹136 crore from a net profit of ₹4 crore in Q3FY25. Its ebitda margin shrank from 16% in Q3FY25 to 11% this fiscal.

The survey says fiscal populism, current account deficits and weak surplus generation force India to pay a risk premium, even as peers like Indonesia borrow cheaper
