His work extended to college, where he coached Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts at Alabama in 2017. In New York, Daboll led the Giants to the playoffs in his first season by maximizing Daniel Jones' potential.

Perfect Fit for Cam Ward's Growth

For No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward, Daboll's arrival is timely. Ward showed promise in his rookie year but struggled with inconsistencies under previous coordinator Brian Callahan, who was later fired. Analysts expect Daboll, who was reportedly infatuated with Ward during the pre-draft process, to elevate the young quarterback to elite status in his sophomore season.
