In a first, security forces will use AI-enabled smart glasses on Republic Day 2026 - How does this work?

Delhi Police will deploy AI-enabled smart glasses for the first time during the 77th Republic Day Parade 2026. The move is aimed at enhancing threat detection with facial recognition and thermal imaging linked that will be linked to a real-time criminal database.
